THE GLOBAL MARITIME FAMILY OF COMPANIES
Associated Conferences Secretariat (ACS)
was formed in 1984 to offer association management
services to a wide range of entities including trade and industry with an expertise in ocean
carrier conferences. A function of the ocean transportation associations represented has
been to ensure regulatory compliance of its members with the regulations as monitored and
policed by the Federal Maritime Commission in the United States as first outlined in the
Shipping Act of 1984 and subsequently the Ocean Shipping Reform Act of 1998,
as well as, the Shipping Conferences Exemption Act of 1987 in Canada. This highlights our
experience in delivering services to meet significant compliance issues as they relate
to multi-national corporations and organizations. For more information on ACS

HRP
is focused on the process of evaluating employees through the
360º process. This is a polling of customers, peers and supervisors in order to
determine the effectiveness and skill level of employees and management. Although there are
competing products within this field, there are several features that differentiate our
product from the rest. a) We offer our evaluation process currently in 6 languages.
b) Our process scores the employee and derives a percentage value in order to determine
compensation and bonus results. c) Our tool, though developmental in part, takes a very
pragmatic approach to the evaluation and views this process from a commercial and corporate
reality. Link to HRP at http://www.hrp-solutions.com
